Hamilton Brothers Oil and Gas Ltd
In 1994 whilst working for Hamilton Brothers Oil and Gas Ltd on the Liverpool Bay Development Project (Offshore Hook Up and Commissioning Phase we engaged with Lloyd & Jones for the provision of Engineering Bulks, Tools and Consumables on a fast track basis as per the Offshore Workscope demand , this continued until completion of the HUC in 1996. in 1997 BHP Billiton acquired the Development from Hamilton Brothers, We continued with L & J as we moved into the further Phases of the Development with the L & J scope of supply also now included supply of Structural Steel, Plant / Equipment Hire and supply of medium / small Fabricated Items manufactured from Free Issue Drawings. I continued to use L & J until I left the Liverpool Bay Development in 2004.
Nexen Petroleum UK Ltd
In 2005 whilst working for Nexen Petroleum UK Ltd on the Buzzard Development Project we used L & J for the supply of Large Steel Tubulars and Sections which were required on a fast track supply basis to ensure Fabrication progress was maintained. We continued to use L & J on an ad-hoc basis for items which the Fabrication Contractor could not supply on an expedient timescale. In 2006 the Project moved into the Offshore HUC Phase and we engaged with L & J on a Purchase Service Order arrangement for the supply of all required Bulks, Tools, Consumables and Test Equipment. Also they acted on our behalf dealing directly with the Project Equipment Package OEM’s for supply of outstanding Equipment and Remedial workscope of Equipment Items. This Service provision continued until completion of the HUC Phase in 2008.
I continued working with Nexen on the Buzzard Development Project and in 2009 we again engaged L &J on a Purchase Service Order arrangement for the supply of Bulks, Tools, Consumables and Test Equipment which continued until Project completion in 2011 which included the Offshore HUC Phase with L & J scope of supply being the same as the previous Project.
Assignments
In April 2011 I was assignment in Portugal working on Jacobs on the Artlant Mega Purified Terephthalic Acid Project which was a Greenfield Project nearing completion but due to various circumstances with the existing supple chain planned progress was being hampered therefore we engaged L & J for the fast track supply of Engineering Bulks to enable completion of the the outstanding workscope. The Service provision continued until completion in 2012.
In 2012 I was on Assignment for Nexen Petroleum UK Ltd on the Golden Eagle Development Project with Platforms being Fabricated in Dubai UAE and we utilised L & J for the supply of Analytical Test Equipment for the Onshore Commissioning Phase, also we instructed the Fabrication Contractor to use L & J as preferred Supplier for supply of item ex UK. In 2014 we transferred back to UK for the HUC Phase and again we engaged L &J on a Purchase Service Order arrangement for the supply of Bulks, Tools, Consumables, Test Equipment, Fabrication Services and Third Party Procurement with OEM’s which continued until Project completion in 2015.
In 2015 I was on Assignment for ENGIE UK (formally GDF Suez) on the Cygnus Gas Field Development on Offshore HUC Phase and we engaged L &J on a Purchase Order arrangement for the supply of Bulks, Tools, Consumables, Test Equipment, Fabrication Services and Third Party Procurement with OEM’s which continued until Project completion in 2017.
